I have the honor to forward copy translation of a Despatch with enclosure I have received from His Excellency the Viceroy, with reference to the case of Piracy on trading junk and the proceedings of Lieutenant Mainwaring, Commanding H.M's Gunboat "Opossum", as detailed in the Report of that officer which I received from you on the 4th of April last.
